I wanted to make a colourful postcard for the ukstampers Sunday challenge No.30 a postcard from India. The thinking behind it was; bright colours, spices, hippy, and links with Britain.
So, out came my Paisley stamps, neon colours and sequin embellishments.

This postcard was made for the ukstampers Sunday challenge No.23; theme The USA. I stamped white card with a denim background stamp and folded the top over to look like a hem, poked holes along to look like a stitch line. The numbers are stamped, coloured then cut out. White glitter was added to the stars (spangled stars – get it?). The logos were found on the Internet and printed out. Two coppery coloured rivets were added as embellishments.
Inks: Adirondack stonewashed and denim, versafine black
Stamps: denim unknown origin, Cute companions patchwork numbers
Card: white cardstock
Other materials: rivets, prisma pencils and sansador
