Time to create 005 decorate it, paint it or alter it…

I have been having great fun painting and decorating found objects: snail shells and stones so if you want to join in pop over to Crafts by Carolyn in the Time to Create section TTC005 decorate it, paint it or alter it and show us your lovely creations (the wackier the better).

Most of the stones have been painted using acrylic paints but I glued on a picture cut out from a napkin on the bottom left stone (frog face).

Here I have used black paint and decoupatch tissues with PVA glue. I did highlight the coil and edges with gold pilot pen but you can’t see that very clearly.

This one was painted white the decorated with daisy rub-ons (very gently), green ink and a small green gem.

Here I have used white paint and stamped small flowers and leaves then decorated the flowers with flower soft and lime stickles.

This last one I painted with white first then with Distress crackle paint Broken china (when the cracks appeared it also cracked the white undercoat so I painted some white over the cracks and wiped away the excess) and added a brad top.

No snail was harmed in any way as the shells were empty before decorating.  Sadly nobody bothered to join in the challenge!
