uk stampers challenge L for love tag
Here us a quick tag as I am still catching up with the ukstampers challenges. Last week it was L for Love. Now I am not exactly the romantic type (as I am repeatedly told!) but at least there are hearts on it. I took the photo with the light above to try to avoid glare from the glitter but it doesn’t show up the sparkle.
Inks: Brilliance graphite black, Distress ink worn lipstick, Copic pen grey
Card: White card, red and white paper hearts
Stamps: Inkadinkado patterned pets, Woodware A dog’s life, little hearts from a free stamp with Craft Stamper mag, Stampers Anonymous Urban tapestry, Stampin up Love

uk stampers challenge E for embroidery tag
Here is my tag for the ukstampers weekly challenge ‘E’ for embroidery. I am a bit late with this one – I just didn’t know where to start with it. I have used card and letters from Cosmo cricket (except the E), some embroidery thread and I even learned how to do French knots for the flower centres down the left hand side.
Inks: Memento rhubarb stalk
Card: Cosmo cricket
Stamps: Technique Tuesday Hanging by a thread
Other: red embroidery thread, Cosmo cricket card board letters, eyelet, E from Heritage papers
Stag card
The effect I was trying to create on this card was of a misty winter’s day but I don’t think I achieved it, I should perhaps have used grey instead of blue. I stamped the stag using timber brown Stazon ink the masked it with masking fluid so I could then wash blue water colour over it. The rushes are stamped off onto scrap paper first to give a more gentle colour and stamped again using platinum ink to give a slightly frosty appearance (you can’t see it in the photo). The stag is coloured using an aqua brush. I then smudged some white chalk over the whole image and stippled on some platinum.Inks: Stazon Timber brown, Brilliance Platinum planet and pearlescent beige
Card: White, beige, dark brown, moss

- have 2 different pieces of paper
- 1 button
- 2 different pieces of ribbon/fibre
This is a tiny card (11 x 7cm). I made the back ground card first using the resist technique with glimmer mist sprays, masking fluid and sequin waste. Then stamped and coloured the image. Cut out the frames using nestabilities.

S for spooky tag
Ah well only a day late! Here is my tag for the ukstampers Sunday challenge N0.55 ‘S’ for spooky.
I used Lazy Daisy paper for the back ground and dribbled crimson acrylic paint down it. I stamped the dragons and castle, smudged a little distress ink in places and scribbled some lime green pencil over areas. I added glaze to the red drips. The S is grunge board painted crimson and the other letters are orange rub-ons coloured with red pen. Photographed on a black background was not a good idea.
