This challenge was to encorpoate:
- fabric
- a crown
- paint
Well I found this challenge difficult, just couldn’t come up with any ideas until today. I was going for a kind of rags to riches theme by using an old loose weave cloth torn randomly and stuck to a piece of white card which I had previously painted or rather sloshed and dabbed with gay abandon. The crown was an embellishment which I embossed in gold. The trail of gold from the crown to the bottom is just gold embossing powder melted from beneath the tag.
Inks: versamark clear, Archival Coffee
Card: white card
Stamps: Stampers Anonymous Mini muse, Invoke Art Art tickets
Other: Chalky emusion Deep Sung Cream, Acrylic dauber Gold, Cosmic shimmer Sunlight mist Moonshadow ink Burnished brass, loose weave cloth, gold embossing powder, crown, linen thread
Looks lovely and old and worn.. very shabby chic.
