It will soon be Suzanne’s birthday and I have spent the last few days wondering what card to make for her. I have hundreds of stamps and loads of ink pads and embellishments but I have kind of lost my mojo a bit. Never mind – Craft stamper mag. to the rescue again!
In the May 2010 issue Katy Fox did an article on Re-use Re-cycle to make a mini album. I used her design and colour scheme with a few tweaks of my own to make this card. I have tried to capture the shimmer effect but sadly it just looks shiny in the photo rather than pink shimmer. The photo it taken against a dark brown background.
Inks: Stazon Timber brown, Distress inks Scattered straw and Rusty hinge
Card: white, brown, card board box, Prima Flights of Fancy patterned paper
Stamps: Stampin up Pocket silhouettes and Just believe, Non sequitur Samurai butterflies), flower stamp free from an old Craft stamper mag.
Other: Prima Say-it-in-pearls (flower centre), white pen, Stickles Coffee (looks pink), Cosmic shimmer Mist Angel mist, old card board box, white Gesso, Punched fronds, Natural linen thread
This is so so pretty, my mojo is also awol…..is it mojo national holiday? good idea about looking through old mags
I remember that article. Your card is a beauty – looks like your mojo has returned!
