Postcard from London

A very quick postcard made for the ukstampers Sunday challenge – from London. It took about 10 minutes to make and it was really fun to do. I used the alcohol ink with compressed air technique from Tim Holtz (you just have to check out his blog!)

Inks: Alcohol lemon yellow, cranberry and a little blending solution, black document ink
Card: white glossy
Stamps: Tim Holtz foam stamps Chronicles
Other: can compressed air, London 2012 logo from internet

Levis 501

This postcard was made for the ukstampers Sunday challenge No.23; theme The USA. I stamped white card with a denim background stamp and folded the top over to look like a hem, poked holes along to look like a stitch line. The numbers are stamped, coloured then cut out. White glitter was added to the stars (spangled stars – get it?). The logos were found on the Internet and printed out. Two coppery coloured rivets were added as embellishments.

Inks: Adirondack stonewashed and denim, versafine black
Stamps: denim unknown origin, Cute companions patchwork numbers
Card: white cardstock
Other materials: rivets, prisma pencils and sansador
